Coconut oil
Natural balms and coconut oil are a match made in heaven. Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, and it’s believed to have natural anti-inflammatory properties.
It moisturises all skin types, and assists in the treatments of various skin problems such as psoriasis, dermatitis & eczema. It also helps to disinfect cuts and promotes healing.
MCT Oil
MCT may also help soothe and treat skin infections. The lauric acid in MCT works as an antimicrobial, breaking down bacteria and virus walls to destroy them & may help relieve skin irritation naturally.
Shea butter
Shea butter is extracted from the nuts from the Shea tree and hosts an array of benefits for pets and people. Known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties – it’s soothing and safe to use on all different types of skin.
Cocoa butter
Cocoa butter is derived from cocoa beans, and it’s rich in fatty acids that can hydrate and nourish the skin. It’s also rich in phytochemicals, which may boost circulation and promote healing from skin conditions
Mango Butter
When applied topically, mango butter possesses hydrating properties. These qualities make mango a powerful food for nourishing & providing a protective layer to your skin.
Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp seed oil is from the crushed seeds of the hemp plant. And it sure packs a punch. The hemp seed oil contains a healthy balance of plant Omega’s, cholesterol, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. It helps prevent inflammation and repair skin cells, but what it’s mostly renowned for is its source of omega fatty acids.
Hemp Seed Oil penetrates the skin to reduce inflammation, prevent free radicals, contains anti-ageing properties & deeply moisturises the skin.
Candelilla wax
Candelilla wax is non-comedogenic, which means it won’t clog pores, making it safe to use on oily skin types. It is excellent for moisturising dry skin and is incredibly soothing.
Candelilla wax makes our product easily absorbent into the skin and prevents loss of moisture.
Beeswax
If you’re a fan of natural remedies, you’ve no doubt come across beeswax. So what’s the buzz about? Beeswax is great for irritated skin, and works to lock in moisture and reduce inflammation.
Stearic Acid
Softens and smooths the skin’s surface while also helping to maintain the skin barrier. Stearic acid is by no means an ingredient that should raise any cause for concern. Doesn’t strip the skin’s natural oils. In other words, it offers long-lasting, deep hydration and it won’t clog pores.
Black pepper
You’ve no doubt sprinkled pepper over your favourite dish – but these spicy benefits go well beyond its taste. Black pepper is rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties and can aid aching muscles and inflammation.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Cedarwood Essential Oil has a range of antiseptic and astringent properties & may help to relax the body and mind. It has also been seen to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, peeling, fine lines and other skin complaints such as eczema.
Frankincense Essential oil
Frankincense essential oil has all of the necessary physical properties to make it ideal for the skin. It can help to tone the skin and keep it in good condition as well as fight against common skin disorders like acne and eczema. There are also reports that frankincense oil is able to inhibit the production of inflammatory molecules which are related to joint & muscle pain.
Rosemary Essential Oil
The anti-inflammatory properties of rosemary essential oil along with its analgesic effect mean that it may help alleviate painful joints and muscles.
